Max Frai is a programmer, developer, and influencer.

In a conversation with Publicfast, he described how he managed to gain 15,000 subscribers in three months and how he sees the future of influencer marketing.
Publicfast:
Max, how did you become the influencer?
Max:
To be honest, I still do not consider myself an influencer.

Last year I worked on a large and complex project - the Atlas Weekend festival. Created the technical part of the event - the system of non-cash payment and entry. I described all processes from the inside on Facebook. I told how we managed to ensure that at such a large-scale festival there were practically no queues. For 3-4 months from 400 subscribers, I dialed 15 thousand. Today I have a total of 26 thousand friends and subscribers.
Publicfast:
How people found out about you?
Max:
I think the whole thing is about the Facebook algorithm. When you have a lot of likes and comments, posts are shown to friends of friends, and they subscribe.
Publicfast:
Your main social network is Facebook. What about the others?
Max:
I have 11 thousand subscribers on Instagram. I don't think it's a lot. For me, Instagram is more personal, for friends.
Publicfast:
Do you have 11 thousand friends?
Max:
No :-) To tell the truth, it was my experiment. Will I be able to dial tens of thousands of subscribers? I created a special tool for mass-following with the right approach. I won't tell you its secret, but I'll make a public launch. The success of the tool is that of the 11,000 subscribers there are a lot of "live" people. Posts are collected under 2 thousand likes.

Recently I launched the Telegram channel. It is better than Facebook, which operates according to its algorithms and doesn't show posts to all friends and subscribers. Telegram is a cool platform with a targeted audience and 100% message delivery.
Publicfast:
Have you thought about starting a YouTube channel?
Max:
No, I'm not interested. But if I had set myself such a goal, I'm sure I would easily be promoted there. I don't think it's easy to create video content. But it is easier to promote it than Facebook or Telegram. People now watch a lot of videos when they eat, rest. Consuming video content is easier than reading a feed.
Publicfast:
Why do you need popularity in social networks?
Max:
I often make plugins, applications, and other things. With the help of social networks, they are easier to distribute. If you have your audience, you don't need to invest in advertising. The audience allows me to promote what I create, what I like. For this, I'm developing my Facebook page.
Publicfast:
What is your audience?
Max:
Quite diverse, but technically savvy. They are interested in the IT sphere and all that comes with it.
Publicfast:
Do you have haters?

How do you deal with the negative in social networks?
Max:
Basically, I don't have a negative. Recently it was in the advertising post, but this is quite expected. People don't really favor bookmakers. I knew what I was getting into.
Publicfast:
With whom would you not cooperate under any circumstances?
Max:
From the proposals I already had, I refused alcohol and tobacco. I don't smoke or drink, but that's not the point. I just don't believe such things need to be advertised.
Publicfast:
What mistakes do brands make working with influencers?
Max:
First, they are greedy.
Publicfast:
Your posts, for example, aren't cheap.
Max:
Naturally, it is not cheap. I have a cool audience.

Secondly, brands are sprayed. They want to cover the most. In their place, I would more accurately work for a quality audience.

Already today people perceive opinion leaders as advertising boards on the road. And they have banner blindness when reading a news feed. Advertising with a blogger can work only when he maximally organically inserts the product into his content and his topic.
Publicfast:
Do you have friends who make money from their social networks more than at work?
Max:
Yes. But they came to the fact that it is also a job for them.
Publicfast:
And the audience does not turn away from them when they see the advertisement?
Max:
Well, somewhere they use bots. Somewhere other tricks. The most important thing is first to earn a name. And then you can make money on it.
Publicfast:
What advice would you give to those who want to promote themselves in social networks?
max:
Don't do this. Enough. All niches are already busy. Come up with other channels of communication.

To stand out, you need budgets and a serious approach. Maintaining an account for a specific topic is a difficult task. Only by taking seriously you can start making money on this.
